                                              2026 Election of Officers - Nomination Notice

NOTICE is given that nominations will be accepted for the offices of President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Three (3) Area Representatives.

The election will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”), an independent, neutral, third-party administrator.

Nominations from members in good standing will be accepted by mail beginning August 17, 2026. All nomination materials must be received no later than 10:00 AM on September 17, 2026.

Self-nominations must be made in writing, via submission of the enclosed nomination form. The form must be completed, signed by the candidate, and supported by the signatures of at least five (5) members in good standing.

Candidates are only eligible to run for one office. Each member may sign the nomination form of only one candidate for each office. For example, a member may sign one nomination form for President and one nomination form for Vice President but may not sign nomination forms for two different candidates seeking the office of President.

The term of office for elected officers will run for three years beginning January 1, 2027. The candidates elected as President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary will also serve as Delegates and Alternate Delegates to the Communication Workers of America National Convention.

Election ballots will be mailed on September 28, 2026. In order to be counted, ballots must be received in the designated PO Box by 10:00 AM on October 30, 2026. Further information concerning the election process, including voting procedures, and important deadlines will be mailed to Local 4201 members at a later date.
